Seriously?? Yes seriously! These cookies are eggless & flourless!They sound too good to be true! I had seen a lot of banana-oatmeal cookies on Pinterest, but it was last night that I came across this wonderful recipe on Laura’s blog, and they looked amazing! I used the exact same proportions as mentioned in the recipe and also added a teaspoon of honey as suggested by Laura. Although I skipped the chia seeds. They turned out better than I expected. They were adequately sweet, chocolatey and chewy! A great snack that comes without any guilt. They are great for a post workout meal! A recipe definitely worth trying! 20140325-142815.jpg

Banana Oatmeal Choco-chip Cookies

2 ripe bananas

1 cup oats

2/3 cup dark chocolate and white chocolate chips (optional)

1 tbsp peanut butter (optional)

1/2 tsp cinnamon powder

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp honey


How to make it




Mash the bananas. Add in the peanut butter, cinnamon, honey and vanilla. Mix well.









Stir in the oats and give it a nice mix.










I didn’t have chocolate chips, so I chopped up some dark and white chocolate.







Drop in the chocolate chips. And mix well.









Spoon the batter onto greased cookie sheets. Keep all the cookies of the same size to allow for uniform cooking.









Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for 15-20 minutes, or till they are golden brown round the corners. Allow them to cool before you bite into them.
