Quick Valentine Treat…Strawberry Nutella hearts.

Its that time of the year, when everything and everyone around is in the spirt of love! A day to celebrate with your loved ones. But, falling short of patience and time to make a luxurious cake. There is a quick-fix solution to this. The easy breezy Strawberry Nutella hearts. Inspired by the strawberry and nutella stuffed french toast this is my vegetarian take of this treat. They are so easy even an 8 year old can make them, but O boy are they yummy! So just 10 minutes to this yummy treat….put out your heart on the plate for your loved ones!

2 thick slices of bread(preferably white)
2tbsp Nutella
3tbsp milk
1tsp sugar
Few strawberries sliced
2tbsp Whipping cream+1tbsp icing sugar
Oil to fry
1tsp icing sugar for dusting

How to make it

Cut out hearts from the bread slices using a heart shaped cookie cutter

Next heat the sugar, milk and Nutella in an ovenproof bowl. Mix well and dip your bread hearts in it so that they soak up the mixture, but are still firm.
Next simply shallow fry on a non stick pan till crisp.

Whip together the cream and sugar, Until you have soft peaks.

Now on a clean plate place the hearts, put a dollop of cream and spread evenly. Now arrange the strawberry slices on the bread. Dust with icing sugar! Perfect chocolate and strawberry hearts with the kick of hazelnuts. Yum!
